TALISMAN are made up of three world class musicians, headed by former Loyko member Vadim Kulitski. They fuse traditional Russian Music with other genres such as Middle Eastern, New Tango, Flamenco Into one heady mix. Their music has all the passion that only Gypsy music can bring you, stirring melodies and hot improvisations.

TALISMAN nous vient de la lointaine Ukraine au son des rythmes tziganes. Une guitare classique ivre de virtuosité, un violon dingue de précision et un accordéon fou de bonheur s'accompagnent de chants russes. Quelquefois classiques, d'autres populaires, mais toujours avec le talent et le sens de la fête. Le jeu de ces trois musiciens virtuoses est tantôt mélancolique, tantôt rapide et passioné, toujours brillant et plein de surprises !

Vadim Kulitski

Born in Siberia in 1965, he brings with him a touch of wild Siberian music. He was trained as a classical guitarist at music school and at the famous Music Academy in Moscow. Vadim was a member of the Russian gypsy band Loyko for 8 years, after he created a new trio band : “Talisman”. He played all over the world with them and made several appearances on TV and radio. He has worked with many important artistes such as Ravi Shankar, Subramanian, Blanka del Ray, Gideon Kremer, Yehudi Menuhin and has played soundtracks for various films. He has also worked with Andre Heller on the show "Magneten". And last but not least, he played for Presidents George Bush and Poutine in Moscow. 

Vadim Commence la guitare en Sibérie, puis termine ses études a l'Academie de Moscou. Peu aprés, il fait ses preuves dans le fameux trio tsigane "LOYKO" avec lequel il travail prés de huit ans. Durant cette période il joue avec de nombreux artistes, notamment Ravi Shankar et Yehudi Menuhin. Il compose des musiques de films et pour des pièces de théâtre. En quittant "LOYKO", il crée un nouveau trio: "Talisman".
